In just three hours, CHSJ and The Wave’s Fill the Sack for Fort Mac yesterday afternoon raised over a thousand dollars at the Rothesay Avenue Superstore and more than 29 hundred dollars at the Superstore on Campbell Drive in the K-V for a total of just over 4 thousand dollars in just three hours.
The money and clothing that was donated as well will be delivered to the Red Cross today.
The fire department in Grand Bay-Westfield will be doing a fundraiser in support of the Red Cross Fort McMurray at the Guardian drugstore in the town tomorrow night from 6 pm to 9 pm, Friday from 6pm to 9pm and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm. The firefighters will accept both cash and cheque donations.
