The West side of Saint John offers a new way to honour vets this year.
Banners were created bearing the faces of locals vets who served in Korea, Afghanistan, both World Wars and other conflicts.
Some feature more recent pictures and others are pictures from their time in service.
The project put together by the Branch 69 Legion, Saint John Energy and the Regional Chamber of Commerce is a huge success in its first year.
Plans are in the works to do it again next year with a waiting list already in place.
