Several charges pending against a man who was stopped for a breathalyser on Loch Lomand Road.
When told he was going to be charged with impaired driving, police say the man went crazy and attacked the police officer. Other officers came to make the arrest. One of the officers sustained a leg injury.
The charges include assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats and resisting arrest.
City Police and the fire department were also called twice to the outside of Prince Edward Square Mall next to Chown Field to extinguish minor fires.
