Heart and Stroke Foundation Of NB Train Saint John High Students In Hands-Only CPR

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick took part in training students hands-only CPR earlier today at Saint John High School.

Heather Higgins Is the Manager of Resuscitation.

She says when people know hands-only CPR they are more likely to react and respond to someone who’s in cardiac arrest.

Higgins says it’s a serious topic, but they still manage to have fun with students while they learn.

She says the main goal is to improve bystander response and to give students confidence to react quickly during a life or death situation.

The training session was sponsored by Emera New Brunswick.
