Opportunities NB providing $400,000 in payroll rebates for RevJet–a Silicon Valley to bring staff from a volatile situation in Ukraine.
CEO Mitchell Weisman says to facilitate the transfer of families, a person was provided to help people fill out paperwork and get visas for the people coming to Canada.
He says they have since hired a full-time recruiter based in Saint John looking for engineering talent and have already hired a few people.
Premier Gallant says these are people who want to build their lives here and they have also come to do some high level work that will help the tech sector.
