Tickets for the Telus Cup hockey tournament featuring the Saint John Vitos and five other teams, to be held in Quispamsis next April, go on sale tonight in the lobby of the Q-Plex at 7:00.
Aaron Kennedy is Manager of Communications for the town and says the quality of hockey will be top notch. In the past, the tournament featured future NHL stars of the calibre of Sidney Crosby and Steve Yzerman.
Kennedy says there are something like 600 tickets on offer with the rest of the tickets being held for the other teams taking part and Hockey Canada people so he expects demand will exceed supply.
The Q-Plex seats 11 hundred and 40 fans for hockey.
You can see all 19 games for 105 dollars which works out to just over 5 dollars a game.
