Former Sea Dogs captain Alex Grant has a one-year deal with the Anaheim Ducks.
Grant was selected first overall by the Sea Dogs in the ’05 Q League entry draft.
The Antigonish native spent three and a half seasons with the Dogs and was named captain in his third year.
He ranks fourth on the Sea Dogs all-time scoring list for defencemen with 124 points.
