A Good Season For Cruise Ships And The Next Two Years Look Even Better

The Port City had a very busy fall with lots of American tourists coming through on cruise ships.

It’s a very busy schedule throughout September and October with many double ship days and a few triple ship days.

Port President and CEO Jim Quinn tells us it’s a long and busy season for their staff.

He says when people see a ship come in at 8am it means their staff was there at 4am and they keep working until that ship leaves port.

He says they had a good season this year but he says 2016 will be better and 2017 will be even stronger.
