Youth Shelter Gets Lots Of Socks

The Safe Harbour Youth Shelter on Broad Street receiving 4 thousand pairs of socks that have been donated from May 4th through the 18th. They were delivered by Saint John Harbour M-L-A Dr. Ed Doherty.

Students and teachers at Harbour View High, St. Malachy’s, Barnhill, Rothesay High and Saint John High helped collect all those socks.

Having dry socks is a big deal for people who are homeless who have problems with their feet getting wet and cracked if they don’t have dry socks, especially in the winter.
