Sale Of Flavoured Tobacco To Be Banned In NB

The provincial government is making changes to the Tobacco Sales Act which will ban the sale of all flavoured tobacco – including menthol – in New Brunswick.

The ban will take effect in January.

Meantime, other measures will take effect on July 1st, including banning the sale of e-cigarette and e-juices to anyone under 19.

Vapour shops will have age and promotion restrictions and the sale of smoking supplies will be prohibited to minors

In addition, product displays and advertising inside a tobacco or vapour shop will not be allowed to be visible from the outside.
