After years of planning, the FIFA Women’s World Cup of Soccer is just under a week away.
Host City Venue General Manager Stephane Delisle says the Stadium was a big factor in Moncton being awarded the title of host city.
This years world cup will be the first to have newly introduced goal line technology, which is used to determine goals if they are debatable on the field.
Delisle says he’s excited to host the tournament in Canada and hopefully change the face of Women’s soccer for the next 20 years.
