50 jobs will be created over time in trades and labour.

Kevin Surrette of IAM Building Systems says the pre-fabs peices are built on a concrete slab that is build on site.

He says the walls system here are made of light guage steel and cement board and they are shipped in panels that are pre-plumbed and pre-wired.

Renovations will begin right away on Shed D on the West side of the port and there will be new construction in that area as well as part of the deal.
