The RCMP in Moncton are now warning people to avoid the area of the Moncton Coliseum, Worthington, Preston, and the Elmurst area.
Buses have also been pulled from the road in the area and people are being advised to take cabs.
As of 9:35, the Codiac RCMP reported they believe the shooter is in the woods near Pinehurst.
