The Atlantic Coastal Action Program recieving a $9,600 commitment from RBC Blue Water Project to protect local water.
Graeme Stewart-Robertson is the Executive Director at ACAP, he says the money will go towards educating people about the environment.
Robertson says it’s a one year project but essentially a continuation of what ACAP has been doing for years.
He says the money will also go towards in-school environmental education programs, summer camps, monitoring water quality and cleanup initiatives.
