It’s a brand new event for Saint John—the East Coast Games are underway with 1000 athletes.
Keith Raynes says he and Bill McMackin began chatting about this last August.
He says they met every month and the more they talked it became clear that it was possible adding they are getting interest from teams that want to take part next year.
Rugby is taking place at Emera New Brunswick Field in Shamrock Park all day tomorrow.
