Main Street is a whole lot prettier thanks to the planting of orange flowers by local school kids.
The 17th annual Marigold Project taking place in the North end and at many sites all over the province.
CHSJ News asked Barry Ogden why this year’s event included a tribute to veterans.
He says June is the 100th anniversary of the start of World War 1, the 64th anniversary of the start of the Korean war
and the 70th anniversary of D-day and we want our children to realize the sacrifice of our veterans.
Ogden’s students read off each and every war and conflict Canada has ever been a part of and then representatives of CFB Gagetown and the Barrack Green Armouries accepted plaques with the list on them.
