A search taking place after police in the Kennebecasis Valley received a call about a person who appeared to be armed with a gun in Rothesay, however officers were unable to confirm the report.
The Kennebecasis Regional Police say that School Avenue and the surrounding area was searched extensively “with negative results.”
The scene is being cleared.
