City fire crews responding to a fire at the Potash Terminal after 3pm today.
Mike Vienneau of Furncan Marine Limited, the contractor that oversees the site, tells CHSJ News the fire was on the roof of one of the storage sheds.
He tells us they put most of the blaze out with fire extinguishers before the fire department’s arrival adding when they did arrive they were evacuated and they took over.
Vienneau says work was being done on the roof by a contractor.
