A young mother killed in a two-vehicle car crash on Route 122 in Dow Settlement near Woodstock has been identified by the RCMP.
24-year-old Kristen Demerchant of Scott Siding was driving one of the vehicles involved in the head-on collision and died from her injuries. Her 8-month-old son and the driver of the other vehicle, a 47-year-old woman, were taken to hospital and both have non-life threatening injuries.
Work is now underway to find out what caused the crash.
