KV police responding to a call about a domestic dispute on Darrell Avenue in Quispamsis just before noon on Saturday.
A man described as violent threw a beer can at their cruiser breaking the windshield and assaulted officers.
36 year-old Brian Craig Gallant was arrested at the scene and held until a court appearance today on charges of Assaulting a Police Officer, Uttering Threats, and Mischief.
Gallant plead guilty to the charges and will be sentenced at a later date.
