Maritimers are being hassled by what appears to be another phone scam.
Unsuspecting consumers are getting a phone call from someone claiming to be with a community policing association.
It’s asking for dontations to helping police officers go to classrooms to talk to students about bullying.
Mounties say they have no such fundraisers underway and they’re looking into the calls.
The Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre has a file on the group and says its definately a scam. Officials there say you should get as much information from the caller as you can and then let the CFC know about it.
