The body of a McAdam man identified as 38-year-old Jayson Kenneth Townes has been recovered from Spednic Lake which is part of the St. Croix River waterway.
The RCMP in McAdam say they received a call on the night of Canada Day about a man falling out of an inflatable dinghy while on the water with a friend. He was not wearing a life-jacket at the time.
After the man fell into the water, he was immediately submerged and did not come back to the surface.
Foul play is not suspected.
