Saint Johnners Advised To Stay At Home

Saint John Emergency Management Organization (EMO) is advising residents to stay indoors, avoid coastlines and other moving bodies of water and refrain from travel unless absolutely necessary while the storm rides itself out.

City crews and emergency responders are out in full force responding to the hazards the storm is presenting.

Douglas Avenue is blocked by a fallen tree.

Environment Canada is reporting that the worst of the storm will pass this evening. SJ EMO will continue to monitor storm activity and will issue more advisories as and when required.

In the case of an emergency, please call 9-1-1.
