There are still more than 95 thousand homes and businesses without power as of early this morning, according to NB Power.
45 thousand are in the Fredericton area but there are still 11 thousand 200 in St. Stephen, 10 thousand in the Rothesay region, including Hampton, Grand Bay-Westfield, the Kingston Peninsula and Nauwigewauk as well as 33 hundred in Sussex.
Saint John Energy reported, as of late last night, just isolated outages in the city.
With thousands of people in the K-V still without power, the Quispamsis Civic Centre which is above the town’s Fire Station 2 will be open again today from 9 to 1 for people to recharge their mobile electronic devices and get fresh water if you bring their own containers.
