Police responded to a call for help subduing a disturbed man at the hospital who had barricaded himself in a room and was trying to smash out the windows.
Sergeant Jay Henderson explains police tried to get the situation under the control, and an officer was injured with a piece of furniture in the process.
The man was restrained without further injuries.
The police officer was treated and released.
