Check the label before you take a bite of that piece of fruit.
Whole peaches, plums, nectarines, and pluots from the Wawona Packing Company of California being recalled from the marketplace because they could be contaminated with listeria.
The cartons could show other brand names including Wawona, Sweet 2 Eat or Harvest Sweet. The stickers on the pieces of fruit have the Sweet 2 Eat brand label.
