Unemployment Rate Rises In Saint John

The unemployment rate in the province has gone down from 11.2% in November to 10.8% in December.

Here in Saint John, unemployment has gone up from 9.3 to 9.9%.

Canada’s national unemployment rate was 7.1 per cent last month — its lowest level in four years. Statistics Canada says 40-thousand full-time jobs were added in December.
