UPDATE: Pliers Used In West Side Incident This Morning

City police responding to a 911 call at a West side group home early this morning.

When officers arrived they found a man came into the home and approached two staff members, stabbing a 62 year old woman.

The woman was slightly hurt.

Police got another call minutes to go to another home on Chapel Street and once police arrived they learned that a man rang the doorbell.

A 59 year old man answered the door and he was attacked but the man took off. The man who answered the door was treated at the scene.

A short time later police arrested a 30 year old man near St. James Street West in connection with these incidents.

A pair of pliers that police think was used in at least one of these incidents was seized from him at the time of his arrest.
