Less than a week after the release of its first budget of this year, the Gallant Government has announced it is introducing a plan that will outline how to spur economic development in the province.
The purpose of the plan is to, according to a government release, better coordinate government resources as it works to improve the economic.
Hundreds of leaders across the province were consulted and the plan is a result of that.
Economic Development Minister Francine Landry says this will be a plan that draws on the unique assets that we already have and calls it ambitious but achieveable.
A news conference about the plan is happening on Tuesday morning at Trailway Brewery in Fredericton. Premier Brian Gallant will be there.
