A local filmmaker will see the debut of her second film in Moncton later this month.
Colleen Furlotte is an award winning indie filmmaker, and also a writer and songwriter who has spent most of her life in Moncton.
Her latest film called “Stripped” will debut on September 21st at the Capitol Theatre.
She says it was a lengthy process from start to finish, “I came up with the concept in January of 2015. It was a very complex editing job so that’s what took the longest. I finished it in April of this year and started with the marketing and promotion. So it took a good year and a half. “
She says she is very proud of her latest film, because it is locally produced, “All cast members, crew, and the script was derived from local writers, and there are local musicians who have contributed.”
“Stripped” is an independent feature film that takes viewers on an unusual journey to the dark spaces of shared human experience; the shadowed places we avoid for fear of discomfort and pain.
