The Premier is ready for the official ask from the Auditor General for more money when it comes to the audit of Atcon.
The group of companies received $70 million dollars in taxpayer money before it went bankrupt.
Brian Gallant says the province needs to respect their budget but there is a procedure in place where the auditor general can ask for that funding.
He says they have asked the auditor-general to formally submit that request and like they would for any legislative officer they will give it the attention it deserves once they get it.
MacPherson want $400,000 to complete the audit on Atcon.
