$150,000 in federal money is going towards a performance series at the Imperial Theatre in uptown Saint John.
The announcement was made by Saint John-Rothesay MP Wayne Long.
The money will be used over the next three years for the theatre’s performing arts series, which will put on an average of 40 performances per year.
In a release, Executive Director of the Imperial Theatre Lee Bolton says that these funds will help them keep bringing in great Canadian artists to perform in Saint John.
