Scary moments no doubt for one of Saint John’s finest.
A Saint John police officer sent to the Regional hospital after a gun went off accidentally at the police shooting range outside the city.
Saint John Officers responding to the area found a 46 year old man was hurt.
Police in the Kennebecasis Valley and New Brunswick Workplace Health and Safety are looking into the incident early this morning.
The officer’s injuries are described as non-life threatening.
