Police Arrest Man For Indecent Exposure After Irving Nature Park Incident

Saint John police have arrested a 62-year-old man for indecent exposure after an investigation of a man masturbating in the Irving Nature Park in August of this year.

Sergeant Chuck Breen says the man has since been released and will be appearing in court.

Meantime, in a different incident, police have obtained security tape from Shoppers Drug Mart on Crown Street after a theft where a man who was in the store is reported to have taken off with a charity jar for Bobby’s Hospice from the front counter.

In another incident, this one on Patricia Lane, police arrested a 61-year-old man and charged him with mischief to property after he allegedly slashed his neighbour’s car tires.

As well, police are investigating after a panhandler standing at the entrance to the Saint John City Market allegedly became aggressive with passersby and then spat on and threatened a market employee who asked him to move along.
