Trump Calls Video “Distraction From The Important Issues We’re Facing Today”

US Presidential candidate Donald Trump is in hot water after a video has surfaced of him making obscene comments about women in 2005.

Trump took to social media to release a statement.

In the video, Trump says anyone who knows him, knows what he said about women in the video don’t reflect who is really is.

In his statement, Trump pledges to be a better man and calls the 10-year old video a “distraction from the important issues we’re facing today”.

Trump admits he’s said some foolish things, but says there’s a big difference between the words and actions of other people.

He says Bill Clinton has actually abused women and says presidential candidate Hilary Clinton has bullied, attacked, shamed and intimidated his victims.

Trump says he’ll discuss those comments further during the next debate on Sunday.

He says he’s travelled the United States talking about change for America, but his travels have also changed him.

Several Republicans have removed their endorsement behind Trump since the video surfaced.
