The life of renowned heart surgeon and former M-L-A Dr. Jim Parrot will be celebrated this Wednesday afternoon from 1 to 5 at the Belle Isle Community Centre in Springfield. Dr. Parrot just last month celebrated his 74th birthday.
Longtime radio and TV personality with CHSJ and the Empty Stocking Fund, Grace Craft died over the weekend at Kennebec Manor. She began her career in radio while still attending Saint John High.
A memorial service for her will be held at Castle Funeral Home on Lancaster Avenue tomorrow afternoon at 1:30.
