A Kent County man is facing charges in connection with possessing images of child sexual abuse.
The RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit searched the man’s home in Saint-Edouard-de-Kent on Thursday.
He was arrested and held in custody until a court appearance today.
Thirty-year-old Marcel Savoie has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography, one count of breaching a probation order and two counts of breaching an order under the sexual offender act.
He has been sent for a 30-day psychiatric evaluation and will return to court on November 10.
