The New Brunswick Court of Appeal has set aside time Monday morning for a decision on the appeal by Dennis Oland of his murder conviction in the killing of his father, Richard.
The prosecution is continuing to make its arguments about why the verdict should not be overturned.
Discussion continued about what motivated Oland to tell police he was wearing a navy coloured jacket when it was brown and whether it was a mistake or a lie.
Prosecutor Kathryn Gregory says the testimony of Anthony Shaw was a guesstimate.
Shaw told the trial he heard pounding noises from Richard Oland’s office at the same time Dennis Oland was seen in the Kennebecasis Valley.
Gregory is claiming it’s not a given that the pounding noises Shaw heard were from a murder.
