New Panel Members Appointed To National Energy Board

It’s still not known when the National Energy Board hearings into the proposed Energy East pipeline will resume. That decision will have to be made by the Board.

Meantime, Federal Natural Resources Minister Jim Carr has appointed four temporary members, including Ronald Durelle of New Brunswick, a former Deputy Minister in the provincial government.

Their job is to travel along the proposed Energy East pipeline route to carry out enhanced engagement with people.
