Steve Carson CEO at Enterprise Saint John says he looks forward to working with the newly developed Growth Committee to move the city in the right direction.
Carson says they’ve always had a close relationship with council, but this is the first time a strategy for growth has been put in place.
He says the majority of growth comes from businesses that are already in the community as well as business start ups.
Carson says 80 percent of growth comes from businesses within, and says the goal is to work with them to attract new investment.

Carson says it takes the leadership of mayor and council, but it takes everyone being on the same page and focused to grow the city.
