Mounties have determined that a Campbellton area woman was the victim of a homicide and the home she was found in was deliberately set on fire.
The RCMP’s Major Crime Unit has identified the victim as 71-year-old Lucille Maltais, who lived in the home.
On Saturday morning, firefighters were called to a house fire in Val-d’Amour and called RCMP when the body of a woman was found inside.
