A 78 year old woman has died after being struck by a car on the east side.
Police say she was struck in front of Stella Maris Church on Bayside Drive around 9:30pm on Thursday and was taken to hospital with serious injuries but died a short time later.
City Police Major Crime and Traffic are investigating.
