Some very happy campers in Rothesay as the winners of the 2016 Hospital Home Lottery got to celebrate winning a prize.
80 year old Shirley Barton of Saint John won the grand prize show home.
She has been supporting the lottery for years but is still shocked she won telling us it’s unbelievable to win something like this.
She thinks the house is “gorgeous” and a “lovely family home”.
Barton will be spending Christmas in her new home where all of her 5 children will be together for the first time in many years.
Florence Gaudet of Dorchester won over $225-thousand in the 50/50 add-on prize.
She tells us she thought it was a prank call at first.
