The North End Food Bank Gets $21,000 From Women Who Care

The 100 Women of Greater Saint John Who Care put a cheque in the hands of the North End Food Bank–the 15th local charity they have helped since forming in June 2013.

Hazel Clarke of the North End Food Bank have been direct in recent months about their struggle to stay open.

She tells us had never heard of this group before.

She tells us she is thrilled to get $21,00 in an hour. She calls it amazing adding it shows the community we live in.

Camp Kerry Atlantic which is a bereavement camp for famillies and the SPCA Saint John Animal Rescue also made pitches last night.

The next meeting of the 100 Women of Greater Saint John Who Care will be in February.
