Port Saint John Previews Cruise Season

The first cruise ship of the season is expected to arrive on Sunday, April 7th and Uptown Saint John businesses have been given a refresher on what to expect for the upcoming season by Port Saint John.

Venues & Cruise Development Coordinator with Port Saint John, Natalie Allaby told the audience about some of the cruise passenger enhancements they have provided including better Wi-Fi at the cruise ship terminals.

“Because we know that is particularly important for passengers when they land here particularly for the crew as well to be able to be connected to their family and friends and be able to post pictures of their day,” stated Allaby.

Betty MacMillan, Director of Cruise Development says they are anticipating more than 203,000 passengers and 46,000 crew during the season that begins April 7th and ends October 29th.
