Saint John Hosts Export Awards

New Brunswick’s highest-performing export companies will be honoured in Saint John on Thursday night.

The 2019 Export Awards will recognize winners in five categories, including Exporter of the Year, Emerging Exporter of the Year, Global Diversification Award and Innovative Exporter of the Year.

Economic Development and Small Business Minister Mary Wilson said 28 companies have been named finalists.

“The companies we will be recognizing are excellent examples of what New Brunswick businesses can achieve,” said Mary Wilson, the minister of economic development and small business.

“I’m told we’ve been recognizing our exporters with annual awards now for 53 years, and judging by our export growth, it just keeps getting better.”

Wilson said she is excited about the awards, adding exporters help to drive private-sector growth in the province.
