Police Investigate Daytime Home Invasion

Saint John police are looking for a suspect after a brazen daytime home invasion on the lower west side.

Sgt. Rick Caswell said officers were called to a home on Guilford Street shortly after 11 a.m. Monday.

“[The suspect] entered a home with a knife and there was an altercation which resulted in the suspect fleeing the home,” said Caswell.

No one was hurt during the incident, he said, and no arrests had been made as of early Monday evening.

Caswell said officers are looking for a man around 28 years old.

“The public is not at risk,” he said.
