Vigil Held For Mass Shooting Victims

Flags are flying at half-mast in the United States after two mass shootings killed at least 31 people in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio.

A vigil was held Sunday night for the nine killed and more than two dozen injured in Dayton early that morning.

Dayton Police say the suspect, a 24-year-old man, was also killed.

Investigators say they do not expect to know the shooter’s motive for some time.

In El Paso, officials have declared a state of emergency after 22 people were killed at a busy shopping centre on Saturday.

That city’s mayor says they remain united after the attack.

The U.S. Department of Justice says the incident is being investigated as domestic terrorism.
