Six People Displaced After Two Fires

Residential fires in two New Brunswick communities over the weekend have displaced at least six people.

A blaze Friday night on Synton Road, east of Salisbury, destroyed a bungalow, forcing out a couple, their adult grandson and his partner.

Canadian Red Cross volunteers assisted all four with emergency lodging, food and clothing purchases.

Similar aid was provided Saturday afternoon for two adults displaced by a fire affecting two apartments in a four-unit building on Wellington Court in Fredericton.

No injuries were reported in either of the fires.
