Let Us Keep Saint John Safe, Clean, and Strong

Saint John is a city with deep roots, proud people, and untapped potential—but we need to stand together to protect and strengthen our future. For too long, decisions made far from our community have held us back. It is time to speak up and demand what is fair.

One of the most pressing issues is the loss of industrial tax revenue. These funds, generated right here in Saint John, should stay in our city to support local infrastructure, services, and development. Instead, they are redirected through a provincial system that has left Saint John struggling with higher property taxes and lower levels of post-secondary education.

For 65 years, centralization in Fredericton has drained resources and opportunities from our region. We deserve control over our own post-secondary institutions and a fair share of university students. Education is the foundation of growth, and Saint John must be empowered to shape its own academic future.

Despite these challenges, our community continues to push forward. We take pride in our city’s resilience, its beauty, and its people. But we must keep advocating for change. We must demand a system that works with Saint John, not against it.

Let us keep our streets clean, our neighbourhoods safe, and our voices loud. Share this message. Talk to your neighbours. Be proud to be a Saint Johner. ❤️

Stand up. Speak up. Saint John deserves better—and together, we can make it happen.
